My journey started as a top college intern in rural Wisconsin, where I met my husband during our undergraduate studies. His ambition to pursue a career in medicine led us to relocate to Arizona, prompting my commitment to supporting physicians' financial well-being. Medicine ultimately brought us back to Wisconsin through the match process, where my husband is currently a resident in Vascular Interventional Radiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Witnessing firsthand the distinctive career trajectories and challenges within the medical field fueled my dedication. With education being a core value of mine, I am proud to be part of the elite 2% of female CFP® professionals under 30.
In my free time, you can often find me enjoying the company of my friends and family, whether we're playing board games or hosting dinner parties. I'm also an avid animal lover and am completely obsessed with my furbabies—a diva cat named Peter and an energetic pup named Piper. During the summer, I love to grill, go hiking, and spend time at the beach. I've recently embraced the colder months by taking up skiing. Alongside my partner, Travis, we share a passion for travel and exploring new places.
I dedicate my time to speaking at medical schools, residency programs, and medical conferences across the nation, where I provide financial planning education to medical professionals. Additionally, I serve as the President of The Medical College of Wisconsin's Resident Spouse Association. In this role, I volunteer to foster a sense of community, promote wellness, and advocate for the needs of fellow medical spouses and physicians.
